Camp Hilltop Overview

When you take a careful look at who comes to Camp Hilltop you'll see the faces of some pretty terrific kids!  These are the kinds of people who could really make next summer the best summer of your life.

And speaking of great people, look carefully at our staff. These are fun-loving and caring people who know how to make our activities, our special events, and every moment of every day at camp comfortable... and memorable.

Our activities list seems endless - and it grows longer every year! We feature Sports,
Adventure, Horses, Waterfront and Arts & Enrichment activities.

Our Daily Program exposes campers to a multitude of opportunities and we encourage choice and change on a regular basis. Campers can explore activities with great gusto, develop impressive news skills, feel group spirit and togetherness, keep the pace or relax and deepen new friendships. All in all, it's a "camper-friendly" way to keep busy. And we do all this in a camp which is sized for success. We believe that a camp should be just big enough to surround campers with great opportunity for building new friendships - but not so big that any camper feels lost or overwhelmed.

The fun starts in our cabins - all with modern bathrooms and showers - which dot our beautiful hillside. The good times continue non-stop... on our 30-acre lake, in our pool, on our athletic fields, in the gym and on the go-kart track... on tennis, volleyball and basketball courts... on our own high and low element challenge course... and in every corner of this truly fun-filled place that we call our "Mountain of Fun."

We pour on the health and safety. Every activity starts with safe equipment, sensible rules, and excellent supervision.  But we also have a licensed nurse on-site at all times, and local physicians on call at a hospital near camp. In the event of illness or injury, you hear from us promptly. We give all our campers the option to attend weekly religious services in nearby communities, and we provide the supervised transportation.

Evenings are filled with activity - casino nights, Dutch auctions, campfires, talent shows, dances, international events, scavenger hunts and much more. The fun spills right over into fun-filled special events - Western Day, Gold Rush, Medieval Day, Olympics, barbecues, and carnivals are just few.

When all this still isn't enough, we move the Mountain of Fun out into the world! Our program of day and overnight trips includes every camper. Some go on hiking, biking, horseback overnights or canoe trips down the Delaware River. For sports fans, we have optional trips to The Binghamton Mets. Campers entering 7th grade and above can opt for an overnight at a lodge featuring canoeing, tubing down falls, a pizza party and video games, or a trip to Pennsylvania's Dorney Park with its water slides and amusements.
